Urban League Guild
The first Urban League
Guild (The National Urban League Guild) was organized in 1942 to support and
interpret the work of the National Urban League.
Function
As an auxiliary group, the function of the Guild is to strengthen local
affiliates by interpreting the programs, policies and concerns of the
affiliate to the community at large and by raising money in support of
affiliate endeavors.
Join
the Guild and help the Greater Sacramento Urban League pursue its mission of
empowering individuals of every racial, ethnic and economic background to
enter the economic and social mainstream of America.
