Summary of benefits and services for employees

In addition to competitive salaries, the Greater Sacramento Urban League offers a competitive and comprehensive array of benefits and services to our employees.

Health Plans

After 90-days of employment, full-time and permanent employees are eligible and may select from several companies. 

Employee coverage is mostly employer-paid premium.

Delta Dental and Vision Service Plan are included.

Life Insurance

Full-time employees are provided with a basic term life insurance policy at no cost.

Sick/Personal Leave

Full-time and permanent employees are eligible for incidental sick/personal leave benefits of up to ten days per calendar year.

Vacation

Full-time and permanent employees accrue two weeks of vacation per year.  The accrual rate increases with tenure.

Holidays

Greater Sacramento Urban League recognizes eleven paid holidays for full-time and permanent employees.

The 401(k) Plan

Employees become eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan after one year of service.   Employees can contribute from one percent to 21 percent of their base pay, before-tax and/or after-tax. The Company matches 100% of the first four percent of the employees' before-tax salary deferral.

Credit Union

American River Health Pro Credit Union is located on site for easy banking needs.
