Angelina Garcia began her career at GSUL in 2013 and currently serves as the organization’s vice president of finance, human resources, and operations. She brings over 23-years of professional experience having been employed at notable organizations like Neighborcare Pharmacy, Moss Adams and Norman W. Marcoux, CPA, Inc., Robert Half, California United Homecare Workers Union, and Planned Parenthood Education Fund.
In her current role, Angelina oversees the organization’s finance and accounting, human resources needs, and operations department. Since arriving at GSUL, Angelina has served as an integral member of the senior management team implementing operational projects critical to the organization’s strategic goals. Such projects include the execution of GSUL’s annual audit, budgeting processes, and upgrading and implementing appropriate systems, internal controls, accounting standards, and procedures.
Angelina was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA. In 1991, she earned her Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration. A few years later in 1993, she went back to school to earn a Pharmacy Technician license. In 2000, Angelina enrolled into the University of the Pacific and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 2004.
