Dr. Jahmese M. Williams

Jahmese M. Williams, Ph.D. serves as the VP of Special Projects for Greater Sacramento Urban League. Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, her passion for learning about and serving communities of color developed as a student at Spelman College where she earned her bachelor's degree. Her dedication to implementing sustainable support for marginalized groups became further solidified at UC San Diego where she earned her MA and Ph.D. in Communication. Her role as VP of Special Projects allows her to implement best practices for organizational change for the benefit of Black and other marginalized communities in Greater Sacramento.
