Project Goals

Reduce teen and
unintended pregnancies.

Increase
community involvement in building healthy families through awareness of
the affects teen and unintended pregnancies.

Promote and
support the development of self-assured. future oriented youth capable of
navigating through adolescence to responsible adulthood and contributing
positively to society.
Program
Activities
-
Provide PROMISE
Project curriculum in the areas of; parenting, sexuality, health, Child
Development, peer and family relationships, and family planning.

Provide Youth
Job Fair that will include businesses providing work opportunities for
youth.

Provide
participants the opportunity to participate in the PROMISE Dance Crew to
act as peer-to-peer mentors and community role models. To include
weekly dance lessons and leadership development.

Provide
Financial literacy training to participants.

Provide
information and referrals to
FamilyPact clinics.
