This night will include a catered dinner\, gift baskets\, gift card raffle\, and connections to local resources\, including our First Class Kids tutoring program.\n\nWe are hosting the celebration on Friday\, May 22nd\, 2026\, from 5 PM to 7 PM at GSUL Youth & Families Center. DESCRIPTION:Keys to HomeOwnership is a live 8-hour homebuyer’s education course\, offered via Zoom (link will be sent prior to the class). This course provides home-buying insight for home-buyers\, who need to complete an 8-hour Homebuyer Education and Counseling Course. Greater Sacramento Urban League staff will walk you through the steps of purchasing a home including budgeting for a home\, credit checks\, the lending process\, homeowners insurance\, closing costs\, and much more. Upon completion of the class\, participants will be provided a homebuyer’s education certificate.\n\n\nNOTE: If you are completing this course as a requirement for a downpayment assistance program\, please double-check with your lender to make sure this course is accepted for your specific loan requirements. \nQuestions?
