DESCRIPTION:Cut to the Chase is a monthly meet-up for Black men to gather and discuss the everyday challenges and issues they face. We invite men to join us for encouragement\, counseling and support in a small group setting with licensed mental health professionals. DESCRIPTION:Keys to HomeOwnership is a live 8-hour homebuyer’s education course\, offered via Zoom (link will be sent prior to the class). This course provides home-buying insight for home-buyers\, who need to complete an 8-hour Homebuyer Education and Counseling Course. Greater Sacramento Urban League staff will walk you through the steps of purchasing a home including budgeting for a home\, credit checks\, the lending process\, homeowners insurance\, closing costs\, and much more. Upon completion of the class\, participants will be provided a homebuyer’s education certificate.\n\n\nNOTE: If you are completing this course as a requirement for a downpayment assistance program\, please double-check with your lender to make sure this course is accepted for your specific loan requirements. \nRegister Now \nQuestions?
