GSUL offers partners the opportunity to invest in our work by sponsoring one or more of our signature events. Signature event sponsorships are a great way to support a cause you care about and connect with our target audience.
By sponsoring a signature event, you can gain exposure to many potential customers or clients, and you can also build relationships with other businesses and organizations in our community.

EmPOWER365

Empower365 is an annual networking event, cocktail reception, and forum for GSUL to report on the State of Black Sacramento, GSUL’s goals, community impact, and accomplishments for the current program year, as well as preview priorities and new initiatives for the next fiscal year.
Youth Summer Job Fair & Open house

The Youth Job Fair and Open House is an opportunity for youth ages 16 – 30 to find employment opportunities, summer jobs and to learn about and enroll in GSUL workforce development programs and career services. On the spot interviews and hiring is a highlight of this event.
JUNETEENTH RUN/WALK
June
Celebrate Juneteenth with our annual 2.5K run/walk. The 2.5K distance is symbolic of the two and a half years it took for enslaved people in Texas to learn of their freedom following the signing of the Emancipation Proclamation. This fun event is a great way to socialize, get some exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and learn about the history of Juneteenth.
eVENING OF EMPOWERMENT AWARDS GALA

The Evening of Empowerment Awards Gala is GSUL’s largest annual fundraising event. This black-tie event brings together over 500 movers and shakers from across the Greater Sacramento region for a fun evening of inspiration, entertainment and a celebration of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
