Our Workforce Development Team connects youth and adults seeking employment with employers looking to fill part-time, full-time, and seasonal positions. The Greater Sacramento Urban League’s goal is to provide opportunities for Black and other under-served populations to gain meaningful employment for career advancement. Some of our services include:

The GSUL Sacramento Works Job Center helps individuals find rewarding employment opportunities by providing them with the necessary tools and training to secure the job best tailored to their needs. We are open to the general public and serve over 3,000 clients annually.

Services include

Training for job preparation including resume building, dressing for success, job search, and interview techniques.

Access to employer recruitment events, job announcements, and youth employment services

Access to copiers, telephones, and computers to complete assessments, online applications, and typing tests. One-on-one computer assistance is also available.

In-depth one-on-one job assistance to help you develop an employment plan as well as career counseling and pre-vocational and post-job services.

Enroll in a sponsored program to encourage employers to hire you after completion of the training program.
