In partnership with My1of1, the Greater Sacramento Urban League hosted a five-day spring break program introducing youth to the fundamentals of business ownership and how to become an entrepreneur. Participants walked away with their own apparel brands, an e-commerce site to sell their items, and clothing designs created in the My1of1 workshops. The program provided participants with hands-on learning opportunities that exposed them to entrepreneurship, marketing/digital careers and unique ways to explore their inner creativity. The program is an opportunity for individuals to become entrepreneurs by starting their own business, which can lead to wealth building and financial freedom.
